The rising plate principle is scientifically tried and proven. It is internationally recognised as the most reliable means of accessing pasture dry matter. Accuracy is second only to cutting, drying and weighing samples, which is not practical in the farming situation.

Repeatable Results

Each meter is hand calibrated. This ensures all the Filip's meters are comparable. Also if a meter is damaged, it can be repaired or replaced and results obtained afterwards will be comparable with those obtained previously - no lost records.
