SPRAY SHIELD

The Spray Shield allows weed control in a neat strip along and under plant rows. The spray shield can be connected to a knapsack sprayer or a pressurised spray system. Mounted on wheels, it is easily pushed along, lifting the plants out of the way as it goes. A wide angle spray nozzle applies weed sprays while the spray shield protects the plants. Can be used over weed matting or direct on the ground.

 


SPRAYER

Used for spraying rows of bushy plants. It has 3 wide-angle spray nozzels to give total coverage of the plants. It can be pushed along and a knap sack sprayer used, or towed with an ATV and a motorised spray pump used.

The drawbar is adjustable for in-line or offset use and the sprayer has two height settings.

PLANT LIFTER

The Plant Lifter lifts the plants out of the road allowing grass to be mown under the plants without damaging them. It is specifically manufactured to fit ride-on lawnmowers.

A simple knob raises or lowers the lifter (see below) and two pins allow easy fitting or removal. Can be used over weed matting or direct on the ground.

HYDRAULIC CUTTER BAR

The Hydraulic Cutter Bar (HH-HCB) can be used for hedge trimming, herb harvesting or pruning duties. It is supplied with a Breakaway and is ready for mounting.

A front end loader mount could be used for hedge trimming or a fixed frame for other operations. Light duty and heavy duty versions are available.

 


SALAD TRAY CUTTER

The Salad Tray Cutter is designed for factory processing of trays of various plants. The model shown is electrically driven and has a manual conveyor which moves the plant trays past the cutter bar. This has adjustable height, cuts and blows the cuttings up a chute and into vege bins.

 


HT-ONION

This was an experimental machine. Unfortunately we could not get the results required and we abandoned the project. However it does demonstrate how Jenquip is proactive in researching new applications and finding answers to customer problems.
